There’s a pumpkin milk punch and a liquid crème brûlée on Cask‘s autumn cocktail menu

It’s officially autumn.
Time for crisp walks, dark evenings, lots of layers, and the release of Cask’s gorgeous new autumn menu.
The vibrant specials once again make the most of seasonal ingredients, from blackberries, apples, and elderberries, to pumpkin, hazelnuts, and corn — and that’s just the cocktails.
Each one of the tasty-sounding drinks has been created by the deft hands of the bar’s mixologists, who like to bring a sprinkle of pizzazz to everything they do. The farm-to-glass drinks menu — available to view here — changes every 12 weeks based on what wild ingredients are available to access from the pantry at that time of year.
We love the sound of Country Pumpkin, which is a milk punch using tequila, quince wine, and pumpkin, and the uber indulgent Little Pot — think a crème brûlée in a drink ‑ with poitín, brown butter, a French sweet wine, corn, and white chocolate.
It’s literally liquid wizardry.

The savoury, sweet, and spiced aromas don’t stop at the drinks; the food menu is the comfort food equivalent of a big hug.
Try warming, stick-to-your-ribs dishes like roasted pumpkin with cashew and hazelnut sauce or crispy potatoes with slow braised feather blade gravy, fermented garlic mayo, and elderberry hot sauce.
Make sure you save room for the apple strudel with chestnut cream.
Oh and if you’d like to spend even more time at Cask, they currently have full-time and part-time positions available for floor and bar. Full training is provided and you can send a CV to info@caskcork.com.
