If you’re tired of schlepping to your local cafe for an iced coffee to fuel your caffeine requirements during the summer, Nespresso has a treat for you.

The brand has specially crafted two Limited Edition coffee blends to deliver ‘full refreshment and full coffee taste’ on ice.

Yaass.

We’ve made many a blunder trying to recreate the perfect iced coffee at home (our attempts were either too sweet or too watery) but the new Nespresso capsules boast ‘a subtle acidity that enhances the refreshing sensation and developed aromatics that reveal themselves on ice’.

There are two flavours, ‘Intenso on Ice’, a rich roasted coffee with cereal notes and ‘Leggero on Ice’, with fruits, lemony notes.

They work like this:

• Pop three ice cubes in a glass.
• Pop one or two capsules in your Nespresso machine, depending on the strength you like.
• Pour in 90mls of water to top up the glass.
• Add 90mls of frothed milk to top it off.

The capsules are 45c each and available now at Nespresso at Brown Thomas.
