There’s a huge Street Feast happening in Kinsale this weekend

A food festival in Ireland’s gourmet capital?
Eh yeah; count us in.
The seaside town of Kinsale will be inundated with foodies this weekend, with a Street Feast taking over the streets on Saturday, April 21st and the All Ireland Chowder Cook Off on Sunday 22nd.
The ‘Taste the Wild Atlantic Way’ Kinsale Street Feast will see local businesses show off their fare from 1pm – 4pm, allowing visitors to eat their way through the winding lanes with tastes ranging from €2 to €5.
Stalls will be set up on Main Street between Giles Norman and Bastion, Short Quay, Market Street, Pearse Street and The Glen.
On Sunday the eighth annual All Ireland Chowder Cook-Off takes place in the marquee on Actons Lawn – grab a spoon and get stuck in early because the public tastes and votes in the winner.
Top-class chowder entries from all over Ireland will be vying for your votes so arrive hungry; tickets are €15 for adults and €5 children on the door.
