Fancy a spin and some shopping?
Fans of craft and curious will be making the trip to Timoleague this weekend for a rustic festive Flea Market.
Stallholders such as Courtmacsherry weaver Yvonne O’Sullivan Couse and mitten-maker extraordinaire Anna Roycroft will be setting up from 11am until 5pm on Sunday, December 17th in The Yard in Aghafore, a repurposed farmyard and cow shed, with an interesting range of gifts and finds available on the day.

There’ll be music by Tom Duffy, hot drinks, and snacks aplenty too so you can refuel before strolling around the famous Timoleague Friary, a hauntingly beautiful 13th-century ruin steeped in history, where weathered stone walls echo tales of bygone eras.
Later, grab a coffee and wander through the vibrant Timoleague village, or bring your hiking boots and take the 5km Timoleague to Courtmacsherry walk, which offers breathtaking views of the rugged coastline.
If you’re heading to The Yard first, the Eircode P72X562 will get you there.
