There’s a cosy ‘Stitch And Bitch’ craft night happening in a city coffee shop

Need a break after the St Patrick’s Day shenanigans?
If your ideal chill night out involves a warm drink, a bit of creativity, and a solid catch-up with sound people, we may have just found your next Friday plan.
A laid-back Stitch and Bitch craft night is taking over up on Barrack Street this week, giving Cork folks the perfect excuse to slow down, get crafty, and have the chats.
The event is happening in Alchemy Coffee on Friday, March 20th at 7.30pm, and the vibe is exactly what you’d hope for: relaxed, welcoming, and all about making things with your hands while meeting new people.

Whether you’re a seasoned knitter, a crochet pro, or someone who just bought yarn during a burst of motivation and isn’t quite sure what to do with it yet — you’re very much invited.
Guests are encouraged to bring along a project they’re already working on, or start something new on the night. And if you’ve got spare wool lying around, bring it with you to share — the more colourful the table, the better.
Entry is €5, which gets you a seat, good company, and an evening that feels a lot more wholesome than another scroll on the sofa.
It’s also a great way to meet fellow makers in the city — expect plenty of laughs, a bit of troubleshooting when someone drops a stitch, and lots of friendly swapping of tips and yarn.
Important bit: spots are limited, so you’ll need to send a message to book your place ahead of time.
