There’s a Clothes, Books and Accessories Swap happening in this city pub on Friday

If your wardrobe is bursting but you’ve “nothing to wear”, this might be your sign.
A spring cleaning clothes swap organised by Asia (Jo) Ciolkosz is taking place at The Friary this Friday evening, February 27th — and it’s the perfect excuse to clear out the rails, refresh your style and ease into the weekend at the same time.
The idea is simple: bring along any clothes you’re no longer wearing and swap them for something new-to-you. Books and accessories are welcome too, so if you’ve novels gathering dust or statement pieces you’ve fallen out of love with, they’ll happily find a new home.
Even better? It’s completely free, with no limit on what you can bring or take. So whether you’re offloading a handful of pieces or arriving with a bag full of “why did I buy that?”, you’re covered.

Organisers are asking that all items be clean, and any pieces left at the end of the night will be donated to Self Help Africa and the Irish Cancer Society — so nothing goes to waste.
Set in the cosy surrounds of The Friary, it’s shaping up to be a relaxed, feel-good way to round off a busy week. Gather the gang, bring your pre-loved gems and enjoy a guilt-free wardrobe refresh — all while doing a little good in the process.
