The Sustainable Sunday Swap Shop is popping up in a Cork pub this weekend

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
And if you’ve got an eye for style and a knack for finding a bargain, you can treasure hunt to your heart’s content in The Roundy this weekend.
Cork Zero Waste will once again be hosting Sustainable Sunday at the Castle Street venue on Sunday, June 19th, so you can swing by and trade some of your lesser-worn items of clothing for new pieces.
The ideal number to swap is between one piece of clothing and five, just make sure all items are clean and in good condition.

There will be a plant swap too so bring along a leafy buddy, some seeds or cuttings to exchange with someone else on the day and you could be going home with something new for your sunniest windowsill too.
“We’ll also have speakers giving short talks throughout the event.” the organisers said.
“We’ve held Sustainable Sundays in the past and they were always so fun – loads of chats, swaps and info shared so we’re delighted to be back hosting another one. Hope to see you there!”
The Clothes Swap and Plant Swap will take place from 1pm – 3pm upstairs in The Roundy.
