Here’s one for the office Secret Santa.

Whilst we’re famous for a lot of things here in the Real Capital and certainly well aware of the wonderful reputation Cork has for being one of the friendliest cities in the world, there can be no doubt that our pubs make up a huge part of the appeal.

Just over two weeks ago, photographer Peter O’Toole announced the second installment of his incredibly popular 2023 calendar, which celebrates some of Cork’s most iconic pubs, and already the 2024 edition is hoping off the digital shelf.

“Last year I created a calendar called ’12 Pubs of Cork 2023’. I didn’t have any expectations as to how well it was going to do but I was inundated with orders and it sold out well before Christmas,” said Peter on Instagram.

Pubs featured in this year’s edition include Jim Cashman’s, Brick Lane, Dwyer’s of Cork, The Woodford, Preachers, Dennehy’s, Dan Lowrey’s, The Roundy, The Liberty, An Bodhrán, Brú Bar and Coughlan’s.
