The HSE is recruiting for Covid-19 Vaccinators to staff 37 centres

Millions of vaccines will be administered in the coming months.
And with 37 Covid vaccination centres being readied all over the country, including five in Cork, the Health Service Executive has launched a recruitment drive for experienced staff to run the massive operation.
Cork’s vaccination centres will be located in Páirc Uí Chaoimh, City Hall Cork, MTU Campus Melbourne Building, Bantry PCC and Mallow GAA Club, but applicants may be required to travel to other sites where necessary.
According to HSE, The following registered healthcare professionals can apply for the role:
- Doctor (IMC registered or entitled to be)
- Nurse/ Midwife (NMBI registered or entitled to be)
- Pharmacist (PSI registered or entitled to be)
- Physiotherapist (CORU registered or entitled to be)
- Emergency Medical Technician (PHECC registered or entitled to be)
- Paramedic/ Advanced Paramedic (PHECC registered or entitled to be)
Remuneration is based on a salary scale of €35,000- €50,500 for a 39-hour working week with 27 days annual leave pro-rata.

According to the job spec, “a dynamic, flexible and responsive approach to the roll-out of the vaccination programme will be required to meet future and demands. This will require the team members to be agile in terms of work attendance patterns and locations.
“Successful candidates and new team members will be provided with full training and induction and on-going support.”
