The Bubble Waffle Factory is seeking a new Cork location

The bubble hasn’t burst just yet.
Dublin’s popular Bubble Waffle Factory has been forced to go back to the drawing board with plans for a Cork outlet.
The business, which does a roaring trade in the trendy Hong Kong dessert on Dublin’s Liffey Street Lower, was in talks to open on Oliver Plunkett Street, taking over the premises at No. 47, formerly D’Bag Shop.
Those plans have since fallen through, but the store owners say they are now on the lookout for an alternative spot on Leeside.

“Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen circumstances as well as location issue, we will not be able to execute the plan anytime soon.” a spokesperson for Bubble Waffle Factory told Yay Cork.
“However, that does not mean that we are giving up on the thought of establishing a new store in Cork City as we are still working extremely hard to come up with a better plan to enter the market.”
In the meantime, bubble waffle fans can satisfy their cravings at Nana’s Tea on Paul Street or Swoon on the corner of Oliver Plunkett Street and Grand Parade.
