This is genius.

As we get ready to venture out into the world again in the coming weeks, there’s no denying that entertainment options will continue to be severely curtailed by Covid-19 safety measures, but one company might have the perfect solution.

The team behind the brilliantly bonkers Bingo Loco has created a range of events that can be enjoyed from the socially-distanced safety of your car.

Fun-loving concert-goers will be invited to enjoy a wide variety of immersive and interactive entertainment along with movies, comedy and live music this summer from Drive-In Events.

The schedule and location will be announced soon on the Drive-In Events Facebook page.

“After the long 2020 lockdown, Drive-In Events are helping get the show back on the road in a safe and regulated way as people will be able to enjoy the festivities from the safety of their cars. Initial locations are Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Kilkenny and Waterford.” the company told Yay Cork.

“Eager beavers can sign up for events in their locations online and get notified of when events launch in their areas.”

The company is lining up a range of options for all ages, from family-friendly afternoon shows to adult-only late-night shows.

“It’s important that people can get out of the house, engage in an activity and do it in a way that is completely safe,” they added.

“It’s a huge priority for us to ensure that we have a hygienic and well-managed environment to keep our staff and punters safe. By following all the regulated guidelines and liaising with the correct authorities, we are confident we can get the people of Ireland entertained once more!”
