Tanora Gin ICE POPS are the summer treat you need in your life

It’s already sold out twice in Bradley’s on North Main Street.
If you can get your hands on a coveted bottle of Blackwater Distillery’s new Tanora Gin (they also stock it in SuperValu), you’re in for a fun weekend.
Not only is it ridiculously tasty with a splash of tonic and few slices of zesty fresh orange, as served at the launch party for the new gin flavour at the Montennotte Hotel, but this is a tangerine tipple that has many, many uses.
Mixologist John Coleman used it to create The Young Offender cocktail – a mix of Blackwater Tanora Gin, Blackwater Barry’s Tea Gin, Off the Cuffe bitters and homemade ginger syrup, smoked in hickory and tarragon.
Fancy.
But we’ve got something even cooler in mind: Behold: the Tanora Gin Ice Pop.
Ingredients:
800mls Tanora
50mls Blackwater Tanora Gin
Half an orange, juiced
Half a nectarine, sliced (you can use tangerine segments too but slice them thinly)
How to make it:
Pop a fruit slice in each ice lolly mould.
Mix the Tanora, Tanora Gin and orange juice together in a jug.
Pour into an ice lolly mould, freeze overnight.
You’re welcome.
*Please ensure you store alcoholic ice lollies in a separate container in the freezer so they are out of reach of children and dispose of any leftovers.
