It’s an excellent way to reset after a busy week.
And this weekend, you can enjoy a muscle-soothing beach sauna while helping to raise money for a very worthwhile cause.
On Saturday, My Hot Spot, a glorious outdoor wood-fired sauna by the sea in Redbarn, Youghal, is running two charity fundraising sessions in aid of Youghal Community Health, which supports Mental Health Awareness in the local community.
Visitors will enjoy 30 minutes in the dry heat, after which you can cool off with a refreshing dip in the sea.
“Mental health affects everyone in different ways and in different degrees.” said My Hot Spot’s Rory, posting on Instagram.
“We all know someone, whether that be ourselves, a family member, or a friend who has been affected by mental health issues.

“Let’s be the generation that breaks down this stigma that affects both men and women. Let’s make it easier for people to talk, to express their worries and feelings freely.
“I will gladly sit and talk to anyone who is struggling, reach out, send me a message and we’ll sit in the heat in the sauna, dip in the sea, chat or just sit there together, anytime, any day of the week. You are never alone, even though you may think you are.”
To book a charity session this Saturday, July 30th at 10am or 10.30am, reserve your spot here and pay in cash on the day.
