Take a little wander in nature at this free Autumn Woodland and Pond Life Tour

Got a curious streak and a fondness for fresh air?
Cork Nature Network is whipping up a delightful dose of discovery this weekend with their free Autumn Woodland, Hedgerow, and Pond Life Tour.
This Saturday, September 21st, from 12pm to 2pm, a guided tour promises to take you for a peek behind the curtain of nature’s hidden wonders at a secret location that will be revealed to ticketholders after booking.
Picture yourself strolling through a vibrant woodland, sunlight dappling through the leaves in the crisp autumn air. Wholesome AF.
Your expert guide, John O’Sullivan (a Guest Lecturer with UCC and a total entomology enthusiast), will unveil the fascinating world of plants and insects that call this woodland home.

John reported the first instance of the alien Harlequin Ladybird breeding in Ireland and has also recorded several insect species new to both Cork and Ireland.
“We are very grateful to one of our members for allowing us to use his private property in North Cork for this event.” the group said.
“Exact address and directions will be emailed to registered attendees prior to the event.”
