And if you’re new to Courtmacsherry and you’re on the lookout for a fabulous walk to fill up part of your day, make a beeline for the village’s newest coffee truck.

Hookd Coffee Co. has been serving up the caffeinated goods to walkers and swimmers at Courtmacsherry Beach in West Cork since early spring, opening Friday to Monday, 11am to 5pm.

Now you can pick up some helpful local knowledge when you swing by for your morning espresso or mocha; they’ve added a map of stunning walking routes to their Instagram page to encourage visitors to explore the surrounding countryside and coast.

“With the evenings getting longer and the days getting warmer, what better way to get out and about than to try out some of the fantastic walks around Courtmacsherry?” said owner, Jack.

From the beautiful panoramic views of the Woodpoint to the sheltered hedges of the Fuchsia Walk, you’ll find directions and pictures here:
