Stand-up comedy returns to Castle Street (and we could all do with a laugh)

In need of a good belly laugh?
The Roundy’s popular comedy night, The Coco Club has returned to their upstairs space. First to take the stage this weekend is Glanmire-native Laura O’Mahony for your giggling pleasure.
You might have seen her recent work with fellow Cork comedians Dominic MacHale and Tadhg Hickey, or remember her from the CCCahoots Production shorts, specifically the Ann and Barry skits which had everyone in tears for a solid week.
Laura is a trailblazer in Irish comedy, carrying the torch for us Cork gals all the way to RTE and on Cork’s Red FM, where she presents a morning breakfast show. She has supported Deirdre Kane, Des Bishop, and Neil Delaware to name but a few.
This will be her last time performing in Cork for the foreseeable future, but you can expect plenty of overshares on the intimate details of her life ( “and learn to love her like her Mam does.”)
Laura takes the stage at The Roundy from 7.30pm this Saturday, November 13th and tickets are available from Eventbrite here.
It’s a show likely to lighten your soul if you’re after a tough week.
