Srsly. You will not regret a Halloween spin to this spooky village bakery

She never disappoints.
Petra Kriva, the scarily talented head chef and owner at Yumm Café in Kanturk is once again laying on a frighteningly fantastic selection of ghoulish goodies for her customers this Halloween.
Lucky locals can swing by the Percival Street café for garish green pistachio macarons, creepy cookies, monstrous meringues, spider web-covered cinnamon buns, and weird waffles, each one handmade by the queen of seasonal treats.

Visitors to the destination bakery will be greeted with thick chocolate brownies topped with gravestones, pumpkins, ghosts, bats and mummies, leering bubble waffle cones, and Halloween hot chocolates, dripping in fresh cream and chocolate toppings.
You can wash it all down with Yumm Café’s brand new hot apple punch as well as a tasty selection of frappuccinos, iced coffees and smoothies.

Freshly baked Toffee Apple Crumble Buns and luscious eclairs will keep the grown-ups happy, but trust us; you don’t want to miss an opportunity to dunk a spider cookie in a steaming mug of hot chocolate.
Just don’t tell your dentist.
Yumm Cafe is open Tuesday to Saturday 8.30am-5pm – call 029 356 21 to reserve a box of treats.
