Sprout announce opening date for first Cork restaurant on Winthrop Street

They open the doors next week.
Jack and Theo Kirwan, the brothers behind Dublin’s much-loved Sprout restaurants, are bringing their fresh approach and healthy fare to Cork, opening their ninth restaurant on Winthrop Street on Monday.
“CORK. 10 years ago today we opened the first Sprout on Dawson St so it feels fitting that on the same week we are starting from scratch in a new city.” the restaurateurs announced on Facebook.

“We’ve spent the last year converting an old bank into a restaurant and are officially opening next Monday the 17th.”
The former Ulster Bank building has undergone a major transformation to match Sprout’s signature design. Upstairs, guests will find a bright, airy dining room complete with a small bar and the busy kitchen.

Fans of the brand’s elevated signature salads, warm bowls, wraps and seasonal sides are counting down the days until they’re available on Leeside.
“We’ve some soft launch days later this week to test out the restaurant so please stay tuned for what’s to come.
Hello Winthrop St. Excited for the next 10 years with you.” they added.
