SNEAK PEEK: These slick new apartments are now open above Cask

This could be the key to a dream night out in Cork.
If you’d like to dance the night away, without facing the horrors of the 2am taxi frenzy, there’s a new sleepover option in one of the city’s best party districts.
Hotel Isaacs has just launched the first phase of eleven new fully-serviced apartments in Cork’s Victorian Quarter.
The apartments at number 48 MacCurtain Street are in the same complex as award-winning venues Greenes Restaurant and Cask cocktail bar, so you can enjoy last call before rolling into your cosy bed to sleep it all off.
Bright, spacious and contemporary, the two- and three-room apartments have a Scandinavian aesthetic, with solid wood oak floors, plush carpets and Siemens appliances, including a dishwasher, washer-dryer, and coffee machine.
They’re eco-friendly too; the group has a five-year plan to reduce their carbon footprint by 240 tonnes per year until 2021.
“We’re proud of the many strategies we have implemented to become more environmentally friendly, including innovative steps such as utilising our beautiful courtyard waterfall feature as a cooling mechanism.” says Arthur Little, general manager of Hotel Isaacs, Greenes Restaurant and Cask.
“These steps are not only eco-friendly, but create a clean and healthy indoor environment for our guests due to the apartment block’s complete air handling and heat recovery system.”
With some of the best eateries in the country on your doorstep, you won’t go hungry, but guests can also arrange for shopping to be done so the fridge is fully stocked prior to arrival.
