Sneak away for a sauna and a sea swim on Garretstown Beach (all for Cork Simon)

Feeling the pressure at work?
Grow Remote is inviting remote workers (and anyone who fancies a break) to join them for a fundraising sauna and sea swim later this month.
The social enterprise has announced its first event in aid of the Cork Simon Community, with a focus on supporting those experiencing homelessness in Cork.
On Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, remote and hybrid workers are invited to hit Garretstown Beach for a 55-minute sauna and sea swim hosted by Wild Wellness, followed by tea, coffee, and some light bites.

Every €20 ticket purchased—priced to include a direct donation to Cork Simon Community – will go towards purchasing sleeping bags for Cork’s homeless, each costing just €19.
“In Cork, hundreds of people face a long, cold season without a place to call home,” said Victoria McCormack, Community Leader with Grow Remote.
“At Grow Remote, we’re committed to building connections not just within the remote work community but with our broader community. This event is about solidarity, compassion, and giving back. While we get to return to warm homes after our sea swim, we hope our small contributions help make life a bit warmer for someone else.”
The event is open to all remote workers, Cork locals, and anyone passionate about making a positive impact. Tickets are available here.
