SIX intriguing new pop-up dinners you should book ASAP

We’re tempted to book a week off work to enjoy this.
At least six exciting pop-up dinners will take place across venues in Midleton next month as part of Feast Cork 2018, the East Cork Food & Drink Festival.
From September 2nd to 9th, the market town will be a hub of foodie conversation, dinners, markets, foraging, mixology, produce, producers, landscape, heritage and storytelling.
There’s loads happening, but some of the highlights include:
Ingenuity and the Bounty – a seafood celebration tasting dinner at The Bayview Hotel in Ballycotton.
A Ballycotton Feast with Pier 26 – an event celebrating local, wild and organic produce in the magical surroundings of a 200-year-old church.
Cork Small Plates Night – a feast of local food, served tapas-style at Ferrit & Lee in Midleton.
Samphires Social Eating Space – a pop-up promising to take diners on a culinary fish and shellfish adventure at The Garryvoe Hotel.
Fiesta at Farmgate – The famous eatery is celebrating 35 years in the community with an informal evening offering a one-off special tasting menu of their most popular dishes over the years.
Eat – Drink – Smile, with The Pepperstack – a menu delicately influenced by Jameson, designed to be ‘explored and experienced in good company’.
