Sip some free bubbles and sniff a lovely new local candle brand in Kinsale

Sounds like our ideal afternoon, TBH.
A new sustainable essential oil candle company is launching in Kinsale this weekend, and they’re laying on free wine and bubbles to celebrate.
Handmade in Kinsale, Wizard & Grace will be showing off their new range of scents in Marnie & Lily, 67 Main Street, on Saturday, October 15th from 3pm to 5pm.
Guests will be invited to experience the difference and smell a genuinely natural sustainable candle made only with essential oils and sustainable rapeseed and coconut wax with local candlemaker Paula McGovern.
After two years of research, learning, testing “and a kitchen full of wax-splotched furniture”, Wizard & Grace unveiled a range of Intention Candles inspired by the Irish landscape and language.
“I wanted to create something vibrant – using colour and design inspired by our beautiful landscape and seascapes in Ireland, with each bespoke essential oil blend candle created to suit a mood, to uplift and bring joy,” said Paula.
The intention range includes the Bandia (Goddess) candle – a fresh and zesty lemongrass and sage blend; Draiocht (magic), designed to evoke joy and enchantment with frankincense and lime, and Kinsale Dreams – an invigorating peppermint and eucalyptus blend to refresh and awaken your senses.
Individual candles (€35) are available to purchase at Marnie & Lily, Kinsale; Leafling Mercantile, Ballinspittle, and Snout, Ballincollig.
