Sick of swiping? A sell-out speed dating event is back for another Cork singles night

You’re still at it, are you?
Swiping. The thumb workout that promises love and delivers… well, mostly just a vague sense of disappointment and dread.
But fear not, oh lonely hearts of Cork (and beyond, presumably), because apparently, the analogue world is staging a comeback.
After a sell-out first event, Date Dash is back and putting actual humans in a room together for a series of short conversations at Seventy Seven on the Grand Parade on Wednesday, April 30th.

If your new to the dating world, speed dating is a a super efficient way to meet people. Instead of spending weeks chatting online or hoping to bump into someone special, you get to have face-to-face chats with a bunch of potential matches all in one evening.
It’s also a great way to quickly figure out if there’s any chemistry.
Aimed at fun, flirty folk aged from 30 to 45, Date Dash involves fun competition to help break the ice (decent prizes too).
Tickets are €25 over here.
