It’s a smart way to shop.

If you’d love to fill your home with stunning handmade Irish furniture but you can’t stretch to the whopper price tag of a typical ‘designer’ piece, listen up.

Benchspace is opening up its workshops for a Summer Market this weekend, Friday, August 9th and Saturday, August 10th, inviting shoppers and bargain hunters inside to browse and shop a selection of beautiful pieces handmade by Benchspace members.

In case you’re unfamiliar, Benchspace Cork is a dynamic community workspace in the Marina Commercial Park on Centre Park Road, dedicated to fostering creativity and innovation. It’s a place where makers, designers, and entrepreneurs can come together to share ideas, collaborate, and bring their visions to life.

They also provide a dedicated space for early-stage businesses to grow and develop.

From wooden furniture to bespoke homewares, lampshades, candles, bowls and art, savvy shoppers will be hitting the Summer Market early to snap up the best pieces. They open from 4pm to 9pm on the Friday and 11am to 9pm on the Saturday.
