Reel for Palestine presents an evening of film, music and poetry in Kinsale

Feeling helpless as the humanitarian crisis continues in Gaza?
Kinsale’s creative community is coming together for a special night of art, reflection, and solidarity next week.
Reel for Palestine will take place on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, at 7pm in St Catherine’s Cultural Centre, bringing together film, music, and poetry to support those affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The evening promises a moving mix of acclaimed short films, live performances from The Lost Gecko and Lady Fi, and heartfelt readings from local poets.
Organisers describe it as a peaceful, inclusive event — “a gesture of compassion through art,” said Gráinne Mahon Henson (Kinsale for Palestine) and Alice de la Cour (St Catherine’s Cultural Centre).
All proceeds from the night will go to Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders Ireland and Gaza Go Bragh CLG, supporting vital medical aid and community relief.
Tickets are available now via Eventbrite and at the door (suggested donation €15) with an option to donate online through iDonate for those who can’t attend.
