Keep it under your hat.

This is one of those cosy little events locals like to keep to themselves, then tell you about later when it’s all over.

On Wednesday, September 4th, 2019, Ballinrostig Organic Cheese are hosting an Organic Cheese Night at Midleton’s Poc Ar Buile pub.

Drop in between 7.30pm and 11pm and order a Cheese Platter loaded with a selection of Ballinrostig Cheese and accompaniments and they’ll shout you a complimentary glass of wine.

Owned and run by husband and wife team, Stephen Bender and Michele Cashman, Ballinrostig Cheese produces a selection of tasty cheese from their East Cork dairy.

There’s a feta and a halloumi to try, alongside smoked versions of both, A Ballinrostig Cumin cheese and a uniquely creamy Ballinrostig Nettle cheese. Dedicated cheese fans can even book a tour of the dairy on the night.

Pre-booking is essential and tickets (€14pp) can be booked by text (087 9160 440) or by emailing ballinrostighomestead@gmail.com.
