Popular Cork coffee spot opens second location on Carrigrohane Road

By Yay Cork July 15, 2026July 14, 2026

Coffee lovers in Cork have a new spot to add to their morning routine.

LUX Coffee has officially opened the doors to its second location at O’Reilly’s Texaco Garage on Carrigrohane Road.

Owner Alex Lazic launched the first LUX coffee shop at O’Reilly’s Maxol Garage, Clonakilty Road, Bandon, last year.

You can now swing by his Cork City outpost for SOMA coffees, hot and iced, decadent SOS Cookies and Brookies and Biscoff, Kinder, Oreo and Pistachio Protein Balls.

Sharing the news online,  Lazic and the team behind LUX Coffee thanked customers for their continued support, saying the opening of a second café “would not have been possible” without the loyal community that has backed them along the way.

The team said they are excited to begin this new chapter and welcome customers into the new space for the usual LUX coffee, chats and friendly service.
