People go bananas for this annual lavender picking event at the Seven Heads

Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Tickets for one of the most popular wholesome Instagram-tastic events of the year have gone on sale, and they are already being snapped up like hot cakes.
Every summer, hundreds make the pilgrimage to the Seven Heads peninsula in Courtmacsherry to wander through rows of fragrant purple lavender, scissors in hand, living out their Provence fantasies without ever having to leave West Cork.
As well as their wildly popular wreath-making workshops, this year Lislee Lavender at the Seven Heads will be running a series of Lavender ‘Pick-Nic’ Experiences throughout July and into August.
Each €25 ticket entitles you to a relaxing couple of hours surrounded by the soothing scent as you pick your own fresh lavender flowers, snacks and two bundles of blooms to take home.
