One side of St Patrick’s Bridge is set to close for three weeks of repairs

Keep this in mind if you walk to work.
ESB Networks are scheduled to carry out repairs to electricity cables on St. Patrick’s Bridge from next Monday, October 6th.
“In the interest of public safety, the footpath on the western (up-stream) side of St. Patrick’s Bridge will be closed to pedestrians for the duration of the works.” the City Council said in a statement.
“Pedestrians will be diverted onto the eastern (down-stream) side of the bridge while the works are ongoing, and are asked to please follow directional signage on site.”
Vehicular traffic will be unaffected and the works are expected to last approximately three weeks.
