It’s free for all to enjoy in the run-up to Christmas.
And Caseys Furniture is once again helping two very worthy children’s charities in Cork and Limerick with the proceeds from their Christmas Window Charity Appeal.
This year’s iconic Christmas window has now been unveiled on Oliver Plunkett Street, with a magical wonderland of Frosty the Snowman and friends waiting to enchant passing children.
The furniture retailer is selling their signature Casey’s Bedtime Bear in their stores and online for the festive season with 100% of proceeds going to children’s hospital wards in Cork University Hospital (CUH) and University Hospital Limerick (UHL).
The super-soft teddy bear will retail for just €10 and is dressed in adorable vintage blue and white striped pyjamas, ready for a great night’s sleep in a comfy bed or cuddles on the couch.
As one of the longest-established retailers in the city Caseys has been creating incredible Christmas windows since 1921. The bear is based on the original bear from over 25 years ago, which still features in their traditional window displays every year.
“It’s such a sense of pride for us when we see people coming to the store with their families over the festive period to view our display,” said Peter Casey of Caseys Furniture.
“Parents who were brought by their parents when they were younger are now bringing their children and the smiles are just as magical.
“We are also thrilled to continue to support two very worthy charities, to who we donated more than €16,000 in our centenary year last year.”
