One of the most famous celeb haunts in the world is opening an Irish base

It’s one of the world’s most famous restaurants.
The Ivy, on West Street in London’s Covent Garden has been welcoming celebrities, royals, politicians and famous names for over a century.
Now, this summer, The Ivy Collection will cross the Irish Sea to open its first international brasserie in the heart of Dublin’s city centre.
Located at 13-17 Dawson Street, Dublin, the brasserie is situated in the new landmark building, One Molesworth, and will be overseen by Jamie Belton as General Manager, and Head Chef Nick Lentini.
The brasserie-style restaurant and bar will accommodate approximately 200 guests and feature an all-encompassing menu complete with breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks and dinner.
A private dining room, ‘The Jonathan Swift Room,’ will seat up to 36 guests for those who wish to dine away from the prying eyes of the public.
Menu classics will include shepherd’s pie, crispy duck salad and an indulgent chocolate bombe, alongside a selection of locally inspired dishes such as Dublin Bay prawns and Dungarvan oysters.
Swit swoo.
The critically-acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio has consulted on the restaurant’s interiors, which will feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows, a central onyx bar, pendant lighting, marble floor tiles, polished parquet panel flooring and leather banquettes.
Guests are encouraged to follow @theivydublin for updates on the brasserie’s anticipated opening date and reservation details.
