‘Tis the season to be crafty.
If you’re looking for an excuse to get into the Christmas spirit nice and early this year, it doesn’t get more festive than a wreath-making workshop in a cosy pub.
The Flowersmith Studio will be hosting a series of fun, hands-on tutorials at Crawford & Co. on Anglesea Street in City centre on Wednesdays (7pm-9pm from November 13th, 2019) and Sundays (2pm-4pm from November 10th, 2019).
With all the materials provided, all you have to do it show up, get to work and take home something fabulous at the end of the class.
Set in Crawford & Co’s lovely market area, participants can enjoy a coffee or something stronger while learning the art of wreath making by crafting a traditional Christmas door wreath of luscious mixed evergreen, berries and pine cones on a moss base.
Tickets are €70.25 here and include a glass of Prosecco on arrival to get your creative juices flowing.
Everyone is encouraged to bring any additional bits and bob they like to further their creative flair and you can also book brunch beforehand to make a day of it with mates or colleagues.
If you can’t make the Crawford & Co dates, fear not; The Flowersmith Studio is also running wreath making workshops in the gorgeous glass house of Fota House (Tuesdays and Saturdays from November 5th, 2019) and in The White Horse in Ballincollig for two Thursday nights in November (14th and 21st).
