Now you can learn about space from the comfort of this comfy Cork cocktail bar
It’s important to keep learning as you get older.
The problem is that after a long day at work, the last thing most of us feel like doing is getting stuck into a big old study session.
Now the thoughtful folk at The Pav have come up with a rather brilliant way to combine a bit of learning with one of our favourite pastimes: cocktail drinking.
The Carey’s Lane bar is hosting Pavilion: An Evening in Space on Monday, January 23rd at 7pm.
Completely free (no booking required) guests are invited to grab a drink and settle into a comfy seat for a fascinating evening of space chat as Cork scientist Denis Walsh takes the audience on a journey around the Universe “starting from where you are, Earth, Moon, planets, stars, and a few surprises.”
