Now you can fly from Cork to Budapest with Ryanair: Here’s everything you need to know

It’s the fourth new route from Cork Airport in as many weeks.
Today, Ryanair announced a new twice-weekly service to Budapest, commencing in April 2019.
Hungary’s party city, Budapest is the ideal weekend getaway, with more food markets, cool bars and history than you can shake a guide book at.
It also holds the title “City of Spas” – Budapest has more thermal and medicinal water springs than any other capital city in the world. There are 118 springs in Budapest, bubbling away at temperatures of between 21 and 78 Celsius all year ’round.
With any luck, this time next year we’ll be nipping over to soak up the amazing atmosphere at their Christmas markets too.
Ryanair’s new Budapest service commences on April 4th, 2019, running Thursdays and Sundays.
The airline is to grow its Cork traffic by 20% next year, with an expansive summer schedule from Cork set to deliver 1.1 million customers through Munster’s busiest international airport in 2019.
Ryanair also recently announced a twice-weekly service to Malta from Cork; a five-times weekly service between Cork and Luton Airport starting on October 28th and a twice-weekly service to Poznań in Poland from April 2nd, 2019, meaning we are spoilt for choice in terms of holiday options come spring.
