This sounds like a brilliant idea for a summer birthday bash.

Carraig Na Bhfear’s outdoor swimming pool is open again for the season… and this year you can book it for a private session.

Just 16km outside Cork City, the community swimming pool has had a complete makeover, complete with brand new fibreglassing at its base.

New picnic tables have been added for families who want to spend the day and the changing rooms have had a much needed update too.

The management team is now taking private bookings for children’s birthday parties and club days for Saturdays and Sundays (11.30am to 1.30pm) and weekdays (before 1.30pm).

Send a DM via the Carraig Na Bhfear Outdoor Swimming Pool Facebook page to book a slot or request more details.

Adult session tickets are €5, children €3, with season ticket discounts available for anyone who wants to use the pool regularly.
