Met Éireann says it will feel significantly more chilly today, Tuesday, as temperatures dip into the single digits.
While any lingering rain and drizzle will clear this morning, with sunshine and showers following, the national forecaster says it will be a “noticeably colder day with highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees with west to northwest winds increasing moderate, occasionally fresh.”

There will be clear spells and a few showers at first tonight, but it will become cloudier from the west of the province overnight with outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing and lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees.
Tomorrow will be a windy and mostly cloudy day, with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle. It will be a little milder however, with highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees with moderate to fresh and gusty westerly winds.
