Met Éireann has shared some early Christmas Day weather predictions

It won’t be a white Christmas.
But according to the latest weather predictions from the national forecaster, December 25th might just be bright enough for all those new scooters, bikes and roller blades to get a good outing.
Met Éireann’s Christmas Eve and Christmas Day forecast suggests that it’ll be mostly cloudy with some light rain and drizzle.
“The rain is likely to be most frequent in parts of the west and northwest of the country, with the driest conditions further east.” said a forecaster.
“Temperatures look set to range around 10 to 13 degrees for Christmas eve and Christmas day along with moderate southwest winds. It will remain mild overnight midweek also with no frost expected.”
With six sleeps to go until Santa arrives, it will be cold and bright today, Thursday, with sunny spells and showers. The showers will become isolated by the end of the day and highest temperatures will range from 6 to 9 degrees.
