Are you an experienced crafter on the lookout for a challenge?

Fibre artist Laura Statham will be leading a unique workshop in felt artistry in Cork on Monday, August 10th at the SMA Community Centre, Wilton.

Laura’s beautiful, tactile pieces are sold in gift shops such as Forest & Flock in Bantry and in her Etsy store here.

Laura will be sharing the secrets of her incredible needle felting techniques with a small, socially distanced group of creatives over a full day from 9am until 5pm, during which all participants will make their very own wireframe hare to take home.

“The main challenge with this project is wrapping and felting over a wire armature, whilst getting the proportions right,” says Laura.

“I would describe this project as advanced. Some experience of needle felting will help.”
