Make your own curtains, cushions and chairs at these fun DIY classes

These are skills you can use forever.
An upcoming series of fun workshops will show you how to upcycle old lamps, chairs and cushions for a fraction of the cost of buying trendy new pieces.
Master upholsterer Annette Leeman from Glenbower House will be leading a series of full-day workshops in November at the Fabric Outlet in Douglas.
Kicking off at 10am until 4.30pm, lunch is included in the ticket price so it’s a brilliant excuse to make a day of it and learn some handy skills in a relaxed atmosphere.
