Love The Beatles, Broadway, and Beethoven? This year’s Cork Proms is for you

There’s something in there for everyone.
The line-up for the return of The Cork Proms at Cork Opera House in April has been announced, with a host of Leeside’s finest performers set to celebrate the music of Beethoven, Broadway, and The Beatles over five nights.
Curated by director Wayne Jordan, The Cork Proms gives audiences the opportunity to engage with some of the best music ever written.
A series of three concerts with distinct musical themes will kick off on Thursday, April 6th, when maestro John O’Brien will lead the Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra in performances of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 Eroica and Symphony No. 5 in C Minor.
On Saturday, April 8th, and Easter Sunday, April 9th, audiences will be taken on a journey to the city that never sleeps, enjoying some of the best-loved songs from American musical theatre.
Expect hits from iconic shows such as My Fair Lady and Funny Girl with Cork natives, soprano Majella Cullagh and baritone Joe Corbett.
