Lilt may be cancelled but one Cork bar has concocted a tropical tribute

It’s been a household name since the Eighties.
But as Coca-Cola remove every last can of ‘totally tropical’ Lilt from their shelves and ditch the drink for good, one Cork bar has come up with a special tribute to the migraine-inducing thirst-quencher of our childhoods.
Barcadia Arcade Bar and Kitchen just unveiled their latest limited edition cocktail; the Like It Like That, a refreshing mix of pineapple, grapefruit, homemade Lilt syrup, vodka and Triple Sec, all served in a can to further emphasise the nostalgic feel.
“This drink is sure to be a hit with those who remember enjoying Lilt in their youth, as well as those who are looking for a unique and flavorful drink experience.
“We are thrilled to pay homage to the iconic Lilt soft drink with our latest limited edition cocktail,” said a Barcadia spokesperson.
“We have combined the classic tropical flavors of Lilt with our own special touch to create a drink that is truly one-of-a-kind.”
The Like It Like That will be available for a limited time only at Barcadia Arcade Bar and Kitchen at the Mardyke Entertainment Complex, Cork City.
