Learn the mindful art of round weaving over herbal tea at this chill workshop

Feeling a bit wound up?
A leisurely morning of creativity is a smart way to improve your vibe, especially when you can learn a skill that will help you unwind whenever you like at home.
Later this month on August 18th, West Cork crafter and experienced fibre art workshop facilitator Grace of Pacie Grews is hosting a morning workshop where you can learn the mindful art of round weaving in the company of an intimate group.
“We’ll depart from striving for a “perfect” finished piece and instead drop into the playful side of the creative process,” Grace told her Instagram fans.

“You’ll have the opportunity to play with a delicious array of fibres and curate a colour palette that resonates with your aesthetic.”
No prior experience is needed, and everyone will leave with their own unique piece of artwork to hang on the wall or gift to someone special.
“Sustainability is at the heart of Pacie Grews workshops and, to this end, the fibres we’ll be working with are premium textile offcuts from my personal stash of offcuts amassed over years of business,” she added.
“While we craft, we’ll have the chance to connect and talk all things creativity, wellness, mindful living, sustainability, and textiles.”
The workshop will take place in the studio above Le Chéile arts and craft shop in Dunmanway on Sunday, August 18th from 11am to 1pm. Herbal teas will be provided as part of your ticket price (€50) too. Book your spot here.
