Broadcaster and psoriasis advocate Zoe Ryan is among the impressive lineup of speakers for UCC’s Dermatology Society’s first Derm Day.
Open to UCC students and the general public, the free event on February 10th, will see Zoe share her journey with psoriasis, shedding light on her experiences and advocating for awareness through her platform, Itching To Tell You.
Joining a stellar cast of experts at The Hub in UCC will be prominent names in dermatology, each bringing their expertise to the forefront. Professor Desmond John Tobin, known for his extensive research on Alopecia areata, will provide updates on the autoimmune disease that leads to hair loss.
The condition has been brought to the fore in recent times with model turn radio presenter, and influencer Roz Purcell, vocal about her own battle with alopecia.

Dr Lisa Roche, a consultant dermatologist, will delve into the intricacies of acne and follicular disease, offering insights and information.
