This will be a meal to remember.
Fans of Kinsale’s renowned Rare restaurant are snapping up tables in its lavish dining room for a special once-off chef collaboration later this month.
Rare’s award-winning Head Chef Meeran Manzoor has invited Chad Byrne, Executive Chef at Killarney’s Brehon Hotel and the Hungry Donkey food truck to join him in the kitchen on November 24th, 2022.

Although he’s not vegan himself, Chef Byrne is widely recognised for pushing the boundaries when it comes to vegan food.
A pop-up champion, inspiring the next generation of chefs with his series of ‘Chef vs Chef’ battles on Instagram Live, Chef Collab, and more recently, the Irish Cooking Championship, Byrne revels in a ‘no holds barred’ cooking style and looks for inspiration in local ingredients and artisanal makers.
Both chefs champion local suppliers and will be creating a sumptuous six-course tasting menu using the best ingredients sourced in Cork and Kerry, the latest in a series of foodie experiences that are making Rare one of the most exciting dinner destinations to book this Christmas.
Tickets for the evening, which kicks off at 7pm, are €65 per person.
