Kinsale’s new monthly movie night will be held in an old church

Kinsale doesn’t have a cinema.
But a new monthly movie night will satisfy local film fans, with a feature film and one or two shorts screening once a month in one of the town’s most atmospheric old buildings.
The former St. Catherine’s church at Ardbrack was purchased some time ago from The Church of Ireland with the aim of making it available to the people of Kinsale as a cultural and community centre.
Starting on Wednesday, November 6th at 7pm, movie lovers will be able to settle into a seat at the venue and watch a film screened with the latest cinema-standard projector. Refreshments will be served too so you can make a night of it.

“We will show a wide range of popular and classic movies on the first Wednesday of every month.” the crew behind Movies at St Catherine’s shared.
“For now, we will inform you by email of the upcoming movies.”
