Join the Pink Knickers Swim at Inchydoney and take a dip for an excellent cause

Gather your bravest gal pals.
A new fundraising event will see an array of pink derrieres take the plunge into the sea at Inchydoney later this month as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Pink Knickers Swim takes place at Inchydoney Beach, Clonakilty on Sunday, October 23rd. Participants will enjoy a refreshing dip in the ocean followed by a picnic breakfast on the beach.
Proceeds from the event will help fund vital breast cancer research, as well as support the local fundraising efforts in Clonakilty to build a new, safe and inclusive playground.
“We jumped at the chance to organise a Big Pink Breakfast with a difference in Clonakilty as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month.” said Orla O’Donovan, from the Clonakilty Playground Fundraising Committee.
“We also hope that this event will become an annual charity dip to help raise vital funds for cancer research during Breast Cancer Awareness month. We welcome all women to join us on Saturday 23rd October to be part of this special event and to help support these two important causes.”
The €40 registration fee will include a goodie bag containing a pair of pink knickers, a surprise beauty gift courtesy of Harrington’s Pharmacy, Clonakilty, and an exclusive invite to the post-swim beach picnic breakfast, kindly hosted by Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa Hotel.
