James Kavanagh just had an impromptu 30th birthday party in Ballycotton
It’s an important milestone.
And James Kavanagh’s sea swimming buddies helped him kick off his 30th birthday celebrations in style this morning at Ballycotton Cliffs.
The social media star, who is currently studying at Ballymaloe Cookery School, plunges into the icy Atlantic almost daily alongside his brave gang of fellow cooks, sharing their antics on social media.
This morning however, thoughtful TV chef and Ballymaloe alum Rachel Allen had a special treat waiting as everybody’s favourite Insta-follow gracefully clambered back up onto the rocks to dry off.

There, against the suitably dramatic backdrop of the rolling ocean, James was treated to a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday and a huge slice of cake.
All of the action was shared with fans in the TV host’s Instagram Stories (we had serious FOMO just watching them).
