Izz Café has been selling out of Palestine Cola (and fans can’t get enough)

Fans swear it tastes better than Coca-Cola.
Now Cork’s sugary fizz lovers can sample Palestine Cola at Izz Café on George’s Quay… although you’ll need to join the wait list.
The award-winning Palestinian café on George’s Quay, owned and run by Izzeddeen and Eman Akarajeh, is now selling large bottles and cans of the popular drink in both original ‘Cola’ flavour and a fruity ‘Watermelon’.
The drink is designed to have a well-balanced sweetness that isn’t overpowering.
Cases of 24 cans (€22) have been selling out on the café’s website and fans are eagerly awaiting a restock. You can also pick up the drink in the café to enjoy with your tabbouleh and magloubeh.
“I added my email to the ‘notify me’ list! I still have about 12 cans left at home.” said one happy customer.

As the parent company of Palestine Drinks, Safadfood AB donates 100 per cent of its profits to support war-torn communities in Palestine.
Izz Café also recently launched its own Izzpresso coffee pods, premium Arabica espresso pods that are fully compatible with Nespresso machines.
Izz explained that because Nespresso products are on the The Palestinian BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) list, which calls for a boycott of Israeli and international companies that are complicit in violations of Palestinian rights, many of his customers were seeking an alternative product to use in their machines.
Each box, available online or in the café, is €5.50 for ten pods.
