It’s walk-ins only for this delectable Sunday small plates and wine evening at Plugd

They say a Sunday well spent bring a week of content.
Especially if you venture out for a bite to eat on Cornmarket Street in Cork City this Sunday evening, December 14th.
From 6.30pm, you can amble into Plugd Records and treat yourself to some truly tasty winter small plates by chef Sarah Roche, perfectly paired with excellent wine chosen by Brian O’Connor of Brian’s Wines.
“Very excited to be welcomed back into the very special space that Brian O’Connor has created in plugd records, to cook some small plates inspired by French flavours, alongside the fab selection of wines Brian sources from small scale, artisan wine makers.” Sarah shared on Instagram.

The menu for the evening features a beef tartare or ratatouille served with baguette, leeks vinaigrette, a bitter leaf salad with walnut and Boyne Valley Blue Cheese, chicken thigh, white bean and Toulouse sausage cassoulet and Glenbrook pork and prune puff pastry pie.
There’s chocolate mousse and poched quine for dessert too.
“December 14th. We will open at 6:30pm, food service from 7pm. No reservations – walk in only. I am excited to work with as much local produce as I can and do what I love in a place I love to be.”
