Planning your Christmas week meet-ups?
If it’s good coffee, a tasty sandwich, and a cosy spot for a chat you’re seeking, take a stroll across the Shandon footbridge to Myo Café on Pope’s Quay, where some new menu updates await.
Firstly, a Christmas sambo.
Created by chef Dan Jo Relihan, the Myo Festive Turkey ciabatta involves a smear of cranberry butter, apricot and herb stuffing, and rocket, tomato, and mozzarella with rocket and garlic pesto, red onion, and crisp mixed leaves.
Perfect, really, and a treat for those of us who believe that turkey tastes best layered in a sambo, nestled amongst all manner of fresh, punchy flavours.
Vegans are well looked after too; chef Dan has also come up with a delicious new vegan, gluten-free, carrot cake made with apricots and topped with orange coconut icing and smashed walnuts.

If you’re feeling adventurous you can wash it down with Myo’s new mushroom coffee MagicRooty. Best served with oat milk, it’s a natural superherb drink designed to boost your brain performance without the coffee jitters.
